The SCORE Baja 1000 isn’t just a race—it’s a battle against the elements, the terrain, and sheer exhaustion. As the crown jewel of the Desert World Championship, this legendary event pushes racers and their trophy trucks, motorcycles, UTVs, and buggies to their absolute limits as they tear across the unforgiving Baja California Peninsula. With treacherous terrain, unpredictable weather, and over 1,000 miles of grueling off-road racing, the Baja 1000 is the ultimate proving ground for the toughest drivers and teams in motorsports.

For this high-octane event, Hildreth Media worked alongside BCII to deliver a world-class live broadcast, ensuring fans across the globe could experience the raw intensity of the Baja 1000 in real time. As the directing and technical directing team, we orchestrated a seamless production, handling everything from engineering and live audio mixing to integrating real-time timing and scoring so viewers could track the race’s progress as it unfolded.

With racers battling through remote stretches of the desert, bringing the action to the fans required innovation and cutting-edge technology. We leveraged Starlink satellite technology to stream live feeds from cameras, drones, and chase helicopters stationed deep in the desert—giving audiences breathtaking, never-before-seen perspectives of the race. Additionally, over 30 in-car cameras provided an unfiltered, behind-the-wheel experience, putting viewers in the driver’s seat as these high-horsepower machines roared through Baja’s rugged terrain.

Beyond the live racing action, we also integrated social media and live video calls with the racers themselves, allowing fans to hear directly from the competitors as they fought through the punishing course. This interactive element gave audiences an even deeper connection to the event, bringing the intensity, emotion, and grit of the Baja 1000 straight to their screens.

With the entire show streaming live on YouTube, Facebook and TWITCH, Hildreth Media played a pivotal role in transforming this grueling, adrenaline-fueled competition into a global spectacle, ensuring that every jump, crash, and checkered flag moment was captured and delivered with precision. The Baja 1000 is the biggest and baddest off-road race in the world—and we made sure the world saw it in all its glory.
